We first came to prominence as an importer of specialist anthracite products, and have, for many years including up to the present time, been the largest importer of domestic anthracite products into the UK. This has enabled the Group to develop an unrivalled database of knowledge and hands-on experience of the many and varying anthracite grades that are mined throughout the world.

We regularly import and prepare a variety of anthracite products from around the world, including from sources from the Peoples’ Republic of China, Vietnam, Republic of South Africa and the former Soviet Union.

We have also successfully imported, screened, graded, stocked and delivered low volatile anthracite shipments through our Avonmouth Coal terminal on behalf of the Electricity Supply Industry.
