We have imported approaching 2 million tonnes of the highest quality Colombian coal over the last 12 years. Not only is Colombian coal acknowledged as one of the finest coals in the world for home domestic use, but also, (and perhaps not therefore unsurprisingly), it is also known to be one of the best performing coals in the world for appliances that require coal singles.

We import our Colombian coal shipments into the Port of Avonmouth, and wash and screen every tonne ourselves, over our own dedicated coal washing and screening equipment. This enables us to guarantee our quality, and customer satisfaction for every tonne we sell.

The Longflame® brand represents product quality and consistency demanded by Industrial coal users. This Colombian coal is carefully sourced by our trading division to meet the requirements of modern coal fired plant and various other Industrial process applications. Processed to the highest standards on our state of the art coal washing and screening plant, Longflame® coal is ideally prepared to satisfy your coal supply needs. It is a low ash, low sulphur coal with excellent free burning combustion characteristics. Having good calorific value and volatile content ensures Longflame® is a very responsive fuel when boiler load fluctuates. Coupled to this, low chlorine and good ash chemistry promotes longer boiler availability adding to value in use.
